Summer Update

Fox Head Community,

Hopefully everyone is enjoying the beginning of the summer.  As schools within the area are releasing for summer break, we would like everyone to be mindful of the increased number of children that may be at play in our community streets during the day.

At the request of a number of community members; the Board would like you to be aware of the “No Solicitation” signs at each of the four entrances.  These signs will be going up within the next week.  Please be mindful that these restrictions apply more to salespersons who are selling products for profit, rather than those soliciting for donations (i.e. Girl scouts, boy scouts, church groups, etc…)  However you are at liberty to tell anyone who approaches your door, that this is a “No Solicitation” community.  If you have additional questions regarding the signs, please contact the Board.
The Board continues to work on keeping the entrances maintained and inviting. Along the fence line of New Ashcake Road, the holly bushed have really taken off this year. To help their growth we will be trimming the tree limbs that have grown over the fence as we’ll the limbs that are covering some of our entrance signs. We will not need to go onto any of the properties that back up to New Ashcake.
As we are in the midst of the growing season, the community appreciates everyone’s hard work to keep their homes and yards in acceptable condition.  The community aesthetics are truly enhanced when the entire neighborhood is consistent with housing and yard maintenance.
In the past month, the Fox Head Board has been surveying the community to make sure ARC guidelines are being followed when it comes to housing and yard maintenance.  The purpose of the Architectural restrictions are designed to maintain the visual aesthetic harmony and quality of work throughout the community, and thereby protect property values and enhance the quality of life for all homeowners.  We would like to remind the community of these guidelines and the need of the Fox Head Board to apply these guidelines consistently throughout the community.  If you have any questions regarding the standards for housing and yard maintenance, please see the Fox Head website at www.FoxHead.org.
The Board can not view the entire neighborhood and consistently find violations of the ARC guidelines.  If a particular property owner see’s an on-going issue that is not being resolved by the Board, please bring it to our attention. Fox Head is a large community and it is difficult for the Board to view all property’s at all times.

If you have any questions regarding the above information, please contact the Board at Board@foxhead.org.

Thanks,

Your Fox Head Board
